Cleaning out our clichés

OT is proud to announce a cliché clear-out. We’re trawling through our entire website and getting rid of the guff. You know the sort of thing we mean - ‘the hotel boasts breath-taking views….’ or ‘such-and-such a city is referred to as the Venice of the East/West/North/South (delete as applicable)….’. Quite frankly it’s cheesy, and we like being original (funnily enough), but this could be a mammoth task, so your help would be much appreciated. If you come across any classic travel clichés while exploring our site, please email them to jenny@originaltravel.co.uk, we’ll edit them out forthwith and you’ll win a breathtaking trip to the Venice of Venezia – Venice. Actually, that’s not strictly true, but the best entry each month will win a copy of our brilliant new book, The Big Short Break. TB
