Lumley in Lights

The closest her most (in)famous character Patsy ever came to ice was that floating in her vodka and tonic, but this weekend you can see Joanna Lumley fulfil a childhood dream to see the Northern Lights as she travels through Arctic Norway and Svalbard. BBC One is screening the catchily-titled Joanna Lumley in the Land of the Northern Lights at 9pm on Sunday 7th September, and follows her journey from the stunning Lofoten fjords via encounters with Sami herdsmen and finally to the remote Arctic outpost of Svalbard, where polar bears outnumber people. Coincidentally, OT offers several trips to this neck of the tundra, so if you feel suitably inspired come Monday morning, give us a ring on 020 7978 7333 and ask for Arabella, our nordic expert.
